"Trailer 15"

This series documents the way others can individualise a home outside of their own. This 'second home' for many is an escape and is used to relax. Documentation is important because it gives life to the neighborhood of Sunset Trailer Park. This series documents the way others can individualise a home outside of their own. "13.3874423 Miles"

This image is a compilation of 2448 individual images placed in specific areas to create a shape prominent in my work. Each image is of legs with 13 different coloured socks moving in an indicated direction, with one colour making the shape. The shape is the geographic area where I grew up and I explore the connections I have in that area in my work. 2016. In my work I play with boundaries, line and contained space to investigate how I think and act in different situations within a geographical space. The foundation for this system is based on the contained area where individuals are moving within. The graphic elements within the work are constructed to simulate connections within the environment and the networks that are created within the defined boundaries. In this piece I have devised a language by creating a database of individual images that make up the larger language. The language can be interpreted using the collection of symbols as a whole or picking individual symbols to follow.
